What Is A Super Tilt?
A Super Tilt is a heavy-duty tilt-tray trailer built for loads beyond what a standard rigid tilt tray can handle. The defining features are dual winches, fully remote tray control, a low load angle and up to 20-tonne capacity. It's the truck for machinery, containers and oversized gear.
Rigid Tilt Tray Vs Super Tilt
A rigid tilt tray is a truck with the tilting deck mounted directly on it — compact, manoeuvrable, and ideal for vehicles, smaller machines and tight access. A Super Tilt trailer carries more, loads heavier and deader gear, and gives a lower, gentler load angle for low-clearance machinery.
Neither is 'better' — they suit different loads. The right choice comes down to weight, size, ground clearance and access.
